Sue Cummings and Janice Appleton from the Festival's Cajun Kitchen will give a cookery demonstration on Saturday 14th at 12 Noon.
A great programme of bands featuring many of the leading figures in the UK and European Cajun and Zydeco scene!
This year's line up includes: The Bluebell Cajun Dance Band (pictured
above), Rough Chowder, La Gang du Queteux, Wandering Aces, Zydegonutz, Miri-
Kools, Dwayne Ego & The Electricians and Bosco Beret.
The Festival doors open at 6.00 p.m. on Friday, 13th March with the honour going to the WANDERING ACES
Two bands who were so good last year they are making a return appearance - ROUGH CHOWDER, who will lead the Mardi Gras parade and BLUEBELL CAJUN DANCE BAND who were completely unknown when they burst onto the scene at Malton.
Saturday's programme may well prove to be unique when the Festival teams up with the Malton monthly food market to add a new dimension for both events! A full day of workshops, jam sessions and great live bands combines with the Food Market's eclectic mix of great food stalls and a special demonstration by the Cajun Kitchen Crew.
Tickets are still available for all sessions due to the capacity of The Milton Rooms. Full details of the events, how to book tickets, bands and workshops can be found on the Festival's website www.yorkshirecajun.com
