Public Talk – Fracking

Kevin Hollinrake, MP for Thirsk and Malton, will be among the speakers who will discuss Government proposals that would “effectively exempt fracking companies from the need for planning permission to explore for shale gas.”
He will be joined by The Hon Nicholas Howard, of Castle Howard Estate; North Yorkshire County Cllr Lindsay Burr MBE; Andy Tickle, of the Campaign for the Protection of Rural England (CPRE); Frank Colenso, a Ryedale-based community campaigner.
The public talk will be chaired by Kenelm Storey, president of Thirsk and Malton Conservative Association.
