The name Chanticleer comes from the singing cockerel in Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales.

The Chanticleer Singers is now very well-travelled, having sung over 290 concerts in 110 different venues – in the UK and abroad at some of the grandest venues in the UK include Ely and Liverpool Cathedrals, York Minster, Inverary Castle, Oxford, St Mary’s Cathedral, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the Archbishop’s Palace in York.

Please join us to celebrate the first day of Spring with a programme of light music and old favourites, songs from the shows and arrangements of popular songs.
